At Windows of Hope Foundation, our Education Program is dedicated to providing quality education opportunities to children from marginalized communities, including refugees and host communities. We believe that every child deserves access to education as a foundation for a brighter future. Through our Nursery, Primary, and Secondary Schools, we create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically and develop essential life skills.

Our schools offer a structured curriculum aligned with national standards, delivered by qualified and compassionate teachers. We also focus on fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere where children can grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. With the construction of Ebenezer Academy, we aim to expand access to education, reduce school drop-out rates, and ensure that every child receives the care and support needed to succeed.

Our Capacity Building Program empowers individuals to gain practical skills that lead to economic self-reliance. We focus on providing vocational training in diverse areas, including liquid and hard soap making, shampoo production, candle and charcoal confection, hairdressing, tailoring, and entrepreneurship studies. Each training is tailored to equip participants with hands-on skills that can help them create their own businesses or find employment opportunities.

Participants learn the fundamentals of production, quality control, and business management, with a special emphasis on entrepreneurship skills to support their journey toward self-employment. By providing these skill-building opportunities, we enable participants—especially girls, orphans, widows, and single mothers—to become economically independent, improving their quality of life and that of their families.

The Health Care and Well-being Program at Windows of Hope Foundation is designed to promote physical and mental health within vulnerable communities. We implement HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives to raise awareness, provide education, and support those affected by the virus. Our Covid-19 awareness efforts focus on promoting safety protocols and preventive measures to reduce the spread of the virus within our community.

We also conduct peer-to-peer education sessions addressing issues such as early marriage and its impact on young girls, aiming to empower youth with knowledge that can shape better futures. Additionally, our trauma healing workshops offer emotional support and counseling to individuals who have experienced distressing events, helping them rebuild their lives and find hope in challenging circumstances.

Our Livelihood Support Program focuses on providing targeted assistance to those in need, helping them regain stability and rebuild their lives. We work specifically with separated or unaccompanied children, single mothers and widows, as well as elderly and vulnerable persons. Through this program, we provide access to basic needs such as food, shelter, and financial support, aiming to enhance their well-being and economic resilience.

For single mothers and widows, we offer financial literacy training and small grants to start income-generating activities, allowing them to support their families. For separated children and vulnerable elderly, we create safe spaces and support systems to ensure their protection and care. Our goal is to foster self-reliance and a sense of dignity among those who need it the most.

The Farming Program at Windows of Hope Foundation aims to improve food security and create sustainable sources of income for vulnerable families. We offer training and resources in pig farming and chicken rearing, helping participants learn the skills needed to manage small-scale farms successfully.

The program provides training in animal husbandry, including feeding, breeding, and disease management, ensuring participants have the knowledge to maintain healthy and productive livestock. By supporting families in setting up small farms, we enable them to generate a steady income, improve their nutrition, and develop long-term agricultural skills. This program not only helps to build self-sufficiency but also contributes to the overall economic development of the community.

Our Emergency Response Program is dedicated to providing immediate relief and support during times of crisis, such as natural disasters or health emergencies. We are committed to ensuring that affected individuals and families receive the help they need when they need it the most.

We deliver emergency food supplies, clean water, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter materials to those impacted by disasters. Our team is equipped to provide basic first-aid services and medical assistance to injured individuals, and we collaborate closely with local authorities and partners for efficient rescue operations. We also offer trauma counseling and psychosocial support to help affected individuals recover emotionally and regain hope.

Our efforts focus on restoring safety and stability while providing the foundation for long-term recovery. By ensuring that communities are prepared for emergencies and have the resources they need to respond effectively, we help them build resilience against future crises.
